I met Tracey Nix through my best friend. She helped my wife and I purchase our first home in Westfield, IN six years ago. We called upon Tracey's services once again in June of 2017 to sell the same home we purchased in 2011. I must say the results were much more than we imagined. Tracey sat at our kitchen table with us to discuss the current market in our neighborhood and Westfield. She came prepared with a plan, where she strategically outlined her role and ours in the process. Her role focused on aggressive marketing via an open house two days after our home hit the market, staging that was inexpensive but could rival HGTV, and utilizing the services of a photographer that made our home show beautifully.
Our role focused on making the home as ready as it was when we moved in. She made sure we understood we had to input as much maximum effort as she did, while also emotionally detaching ourselves as we were now involved in accomplishing a business transaction to met a greater goal.
Our home became available to the open market on July 1st, and the first showing seven hours later resulted in the prospective buyer making an offer at asking price, which was higher than the research showed the home would sell for, but not overly aggressive to price the home out of the market. We of course accepted, and she strategically negotiated the deal to a more than satisfactory close.
